About Me

Hi, I’m Fenella, the baker behind Betty’s Bakes.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved baking and making things. There’s something about creating something from scratch, watching it come together and, of course, getting to enjoy the finished bake!

About seven years ago, I had to begin following a gluten-free diet. This was the point when my love of baking took on a new direction. I wanted to create the best gluten-free bakes possible—ones that were delicious, beautiful and, most importantly, never felt like you were missing out.

At the time, I didn’t know that I would eventually want to sell my cakes and bakes. I simply knew that I wanted to share what I was learning. As I discovered and adapted recipes, I began sharing them with others, and this was the beginning of the Betty’s Bakes journey.

A little while later, I opened my Etsy store, where I began selling postal bakes and custom collections. Since then, Betty’s Bakes has continued to grow, and I now offer a selection of postal bakes through my website, alongside custom cakes that you can build through the website.

Once you’ve created your cake, I’ll be in touch to chat through the details and make it completely personal to you.

Baking without compromise

My aim has always been simple: to create gluten-free bakes that everyone can enjoy. Whether you’re treating yourself, sending a little something to someone special or celebrating a big occasion, I want every Betty’s Bakes creation to feel just that little bit special.
